This Old Park

The final weeks of the season, and since I had enough vacation left, I have the next nine days to finish up on this season, do Christmas, play some vidya, and try not to spend money I don’t have on the Steam sale. That said, I finished up Amagi Brilliant Park and Denki Gai no Honya-san to throw out now. Surprisingly, this is the first KyoAni show I am not going to outright mock since K-ON!. So there’s that.

As a bonus, I’ll also throw in a halfway look at Log Horizon, mostly for post filler. Rejoice. Or something.

Fall Midterm Part Two: The Iron Maiden

Continuing on this season’s fine fare, we come to the second and last part, going over the bottom seven shows of the season. It was a tough sort, because some aren’t bad, but compared to the top seven, just didn’t cut the mustard enough to fit. Others just didn’t grab me as much as I anticipated. Too many distractions this year, I say.

Mad Science

A pile of more first looks as the season continues to spread eagle for us: Ai Tenchi-Muyo, Amagi Brilliant Park, Denki Gai no Honya-san, Trinity Seven, Ino Battle wa Nichijo-kei, and Chaika: Avenging Battle. Impressions continue to be fairly strong across the board, but there are a few niggles here and there. First weeks always tend to impress though, so we’ll see how things are after the Kool-Aid man busts through the wall.
