WordPress sent me a nice email with my 2010 in Review stats for the year, I was already planning on a 2010 in Review for 2010 anime I watched this year. How nice of it to remind me.

The full spreadsheet, which includes Ratings from three different sources including mine, and favorite character breakdowns, can be found here: https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AtS2pmo6ETiudFhtM3N3ZDJ6Vjkxamk3a1NPalR2M1E&hl=en

TL;DR

I originally was going to do some sort of fancy chart, but then I figured you know, my favorites are my favorites, there was a lot more I didn’t see this year that I will go back and watch all of, and something there might top all of this. Instead, focusing on what I’ve watched, I’d say 2010 was a pretty decent year. A few big name titles, like Strike Witches and K-ON!! dominated the scene, and lesser new titles like Otome Youkai Zakuro, Baka Test, and Seitokai Yakuindomo, made each season worth watching at least one good series. Take from it what you will.

Looking into 2011, we have some interesting winter titles coming up this week that I want to see, namely Infinite Stratos, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Majou, and GOSICK among others (see the right sidebar or Tag:Upcoming for the complete list). I’m still waiting for a third season of Shana, second season of Saki, and a few other name brands, but I am also holding out for a new good series to make its stand. I still have good ol’ Index II and SRW:TI though for backup this season.

I am setting up the new Twitter feed for this site this afternoon, it will contain mostly reactions to episodes watched, links to this blog and posts made, and any other bullshit I can think of. It may also double as the TLDRsaimoe twitter this summer too, we’ll see.

Finally, here is WordPress’s idea of how this blog did this year. If you like 747 comparisons that is.

The stats helper monkeys at WordPress.com mulled over how this blog did in 2010, and here’s a high level summary of its overall blog health:
