Winter 2015/2016 Preview

After skipping out on most of last season and powerwatching what I did want to see, I am taking a little closer of a look at the next season, but I am still probably going to keep my docket light to work on other things. Such is the way of the thirty-something married life.

Confirmed
Nothing. For once, there is nothing here I can reliably say I would watch, probably because there are few continuing shows or franchises of interest. Huah.

Plausible
Active Raid: Kidou Kyoushuushitsu Dai Hakkei – You know, if we could get something akin to Bubblegum Crisis or Burn-Up W in this day and age, that would be pretty cool. But these looks like it might be a more realistic (heh) Ghost in the Shell.
Dagashi Kashi – Tokyo ESP’s director is going for the Slice-of-Life? Hm.
Koukaku no Pandora – Robot girls? Ecchi? Go on.
Luck & Logic – Dogakobo shows are usually my jam, and with FMP’s director, this could be interesting.

Questionable
Musaigen no Phantom World – >Light-Novel >Kyoani
Oshiete! Galko-chan – Thinking these might be shorts, but I am intrigued for some reason.

Busted
HaruChika: Haruta to Chika wa Seishun Suru – Nah. I got my fill of music anime.
Divine Gate – Nah. This seems like something for the Crunchyplebs and maybe Dodger’s channel.

Overall impression is this season is filled with either SoL school days or fantasy/supernatural of questionable tastes. Not a lot of variety really. Thinking this might be a lame-duck season for whatever is coming up in Spring or Summer. Eh well. We’ll see what else Twitterfam comes up with in the coming weeks to follow. Let me know if you think there is something I should watch.
