Dropped: Denpa Kyoushi

I don’t even know where to start with this, so I’ll just start at the beginning.

It’s just bad.

I’ve watched a lot of shit. Close to five hundred shows I think, and while that is a small number of the thousands of shows over decades, I’ve only dropped about a dozen lifetime. It’s something I try not to do by really digging into the previews and finding what interests me enough to take the plunge. Denpa Kyoushi was just not that. Not even close.

Narrow Vision

I thought about waiting another week to do sort of the halfway point, but I somehow imagine everything we’re seeing now from this season will be the same next week. With such a strong opening week or two, this season has kind of been a let down, predictably falling off after the second episode into a mushy paste. I suppose the summer can be one of the worst seasons for anime, like anything else summer, when it is too hot to want to bother. It also doesn’t help that I’ve been playing Firefall or entertaining the wife, so I suppose I am not paying attention as much.

Anyway, let’s try to slog our way through, ranked in order.

The Boredom Games

After two weeks of not watching anime, in favor of watching House on Netflix, I returned to about a dozen or more episodes of shit to watch, and was just so incredibly disappointed with some of the lot.

Kicking off this post, is a drop. I don’t drop shows easily, mainly because there is usually something keeping me around despite bad everything else. Unfortunately, Akuma no Riddle has none of those things. It was just simply boring. But I’ll try to explain why.
